Gemma Lippman is a digital multimedia artist based in Chicago, Illinois and Los Angeles, California.

When creating digital art, I find myself interested in exploring the narrative quality of digital mediums. I have experience writing, designing, and conceptualizing narrative art games, and I want to continue building this concentration. I am interested in exploring the relationship between humans and technology and how it influences our conceptions of self.

In my traditional art practice, I focus primarily on painting with some experimentation into sculpture. My process is not a linear one. I often fixate on nonsensical imagery, either that which I have experienced in dreams or through intuitive creation. My process is constantly changing and mutating, where I allow my work to develop based on feeling in the moment. Instead of rigorously and strictly planning, I prefer to dive in to an empty space and experience the path that the materials and concepts I am working with bring me to. I am constantly seeking to improve myself and my art, I take every experience I have as inspiration for creation.
